Yesterday was the 3-year anniversary of our family's arrival in Chile but due to a 4.8 tremor followed by a blackout, I was unable to complete the post I intended to write. However, I found it quite fitting that our anniversary should be marked by such "excitement!"
I am so thankful that God has placed us in this wonderful country. While there are days when we miss everything from Grandma's home cooking to Michigan's blue lakes and Delaware's green grassy lawns (with maybe some Turkey Hill ice cream and Wendy's spicy chicken sandwiches and A&W root beer thrown in) ... there is still nowhere we'd rather be than here.
Thank you to those who sacrificial prayers and giving keep us in this place we love, with the people we love, to show Christ's love.
