Yesterday Isabel picked up her very first pair of eyeglasses. She is quite excited! The prescription is not super strong but the eye doctor stated that her left eye is noticeably weaker than the right and was causing the right eye to overcompensate. This isn't too surprising since with Isabel's CP diagnosis the left side of her body has always been a bit weaker.She was able to choose the frames and of course she picked the lavender ones since purple is her favorite color! We are enjoying her enthusiasm and think she looks very beautiful and very smart in her new lenses. In fact, we think she look "bespec-tacular!" :)

She is beautiful in her new glasses. Just gorgeous. Kaish got some new glasses this summer too. He is also very excited about them. Very, very excited.
That is one of the many things I adore about children. Their constant excitement. They know life is cause for happiness.
