Celebrating the Story

I received the following pictures and e-mails from members of the Gackenheimer family this week, after they received their treasured Bible. I thought I would share them here for those who have enjoyed this unusual story as much as I have!

Dear Family and Friends:

Well, the Bible arrived yesterday! Audrey and I met Fred and Beverly at Ruby Tuesdays (on Monday) and had an official opening ceremony for the lost wanderer (Bible). I have attached a few of the opening photographs for you to enjoy. This has been a most unusual occurrence, and thanks to missionary Stephanie Garcia in Chile, SA for making it happen.

Audrey and JWH.

---------------------
Hello, I am Beverly Gackenheimer H., Audrey's sister. How can I ever thank you enough for your effort in sending our Father's Bible to us. I do believe you were led by God to that little shop and to that precious Book. We contacted our children about the "find" and they are eagerly waiting to see the Bible that belonged to Grandpa. It so happens they will all be home this week end. Each one of our children, and many of our grandchildren, were spiritually mentored by both my dad and mother. They each one have their own special memories and I am sure that we will have a "remember when" session. I hope that some way we will be able to meet sometime. If not on this earth--we will see you in heaven.
Thank you again and may God's blessing attend your work there in Chile.
Your sister in Christ, Beverly

Such a cool story, Steph! I still say, it would make a great kid's book! You know...the point of view of the Bible...
