Loving life and the freedom to run
Last Wednesday, we transitioned Daisy to her new home. She will not be accompanying our family to Iquique, but she is very happy with her new digs!
Her official position is that of assistant guard dog at the MK school. This means she gets to run around campus all night long with her new buddy, Rufo - who, for the record, is also very keen on his new friend! - and she gets to rest all day in the warm sunshine while school is in session.
The best part of it all is that we can visit her whenever we want, even after we move to Iquique but return to Santiago for annual conferences and such. Tonight we dropped by after supper and Daisy loved running around with Eva on her heels. She did try to climb into the car when we were leaving, so we know she still holds some affection for us, but mostly she'd rather romp around with Rufo anyway!
Truthfully, the happiest person in all of this is Pedro. He much prefers to like Daisy at a distance! But overall, this is a win-win situation for everyone. Enjoy the pictures! :)
