SeaLife Center

After the boat ride, we took the children to the SeaLife Center in Port Isabel. This center conducts dolphin research and we were able to see a video of their interaction with the local dolphins. The dolphins even played "soccer" with a jellyfish for the camera! They center also has "touch tanks" where the students were able to pick up crabs, starfish, and other marine life. Isabel spent almost the entire time with the seashells and crabs! Eva preferred visiting the gift shop and holding a carved wooden dolphin she picked out. Our field trip concluded with lunch at Peter Piper's Pizza (similar to Chuck E. Cheese) which apparently is a "must" on every field trip I have attended with the girls! It was a fun day.
