A resource that has been a blessing to me is Christine Hoover's blog, Grace Covers Me. Author of the Church Planting Wife, Christine writes about her own experiences and lessons learned in the trenches of church planting alongside her husband and children. Her post entitled "Church Planting Wife: What to Expect" was especially needed by me today. This picture and prayer, "Lord, give me a thick skin & a tender heart," is so appropriate to how I am feeling as the blessings and challenges of our work collide. Thankful that God knows exactly what is on my heart and trusting Him to untangle those areas that are in need of His tender touch!
