Owen's kindergarten unit last month was on the family. To culminate their weeks of study, on Friday the students' families were invited to an exhibition of projects the children had created. One of Owen's projects, pictured above, was a colorful pieced paper picture of four out of seven family members (I can only guess that he ran out of time to do the rest. I'm quite positive he has the largest family in his class!)
He was very proud of his clay family, pictured below. His brothers were pretty fascinated by the art projects, too! But they especially enjoyed the chance to run around and play with the jardin students. As usual, the two of them were quite popular with kids and parents alike. Even Owen joined in the play for awhile despite its revolving around a pink princess tea set! :)

The school looks like so much fun. Glad they can hang with the girls!
Good job, Owen! It looks like you had a really good time at your birthday party. Wish I could have been there, too.
Love, Mommom
