To my husband’s chagrin delight, this morning I handed him a sheaf of papers with the announcement that I have planned our first date in the New Year. We are scheduled for a night out this weekend and if I have my way, we will be talking over the following worksheets from Tsh Oxenreider at SimpleMom.net:
Romantic? Maybe not in the traditional sense. But there is something about talking through the details of our family and goals with my husband that always gives my heart a sense of hope and deep contentment. I can think of no better way to start the New Year than by “getting our house in order” and looking forward to what 2010 holds in store!
