Celebrating Achievements

Last night, our girls were asked to attend an awards ceremony at their school. From each class, two students were given diplomas: the first for overall performance/grades, and the second for effort. We were so proud of Eva and Isabel, who received the diplomas for effort from their grades!

Along with her diploma, each of the girls also received a gift. Isabel's was a box of chocolates and Eva's was a beach towel. They were both so happy. Eva said she was very nervous going in front of the parents and was shaking a little. Pedro caught sight of Isabel's face when her name was called and he said her mouth dropped open and she was so excited!

To celebrate their achievement, we took the kids to our new favorite ice cream joint at the local grocery store. It was a special night to remember!
