This morning, Owen was very excited to be "matching" with Daddy for church. The only element lacking from his outfit was a tie, so in preparation for our evening service he picked out one he liked from Daddy's collection. Initially, he was proud and happy to pose for pictures but when he failed to get his own way on something this second picture was the result (still cute in a frustrating sort of way!)And such is life with our four year old ... melting my heart with his unexpected and hilarious "I love you, Sweet Pea!" comment one minute and driving me crazy with his tantrums the next ...

we are celebrating the wonderful world of 4 too...it is a (usually) delightful roller coaster ride...except when it is not
