Please Pray for This Family

The Dohrenwend family are in the process of adopting a sweet little boy from Haiti, and recently received the referral of a one-year old daughter from Ethiopia as well. Sadly, their joy was cut short when they learned this week of their new daughter's death, most likely from a complication from chicken pox. Please pray for them as they mourn the little girl they did not even have the chance to know. Please pray for all the adoptive families - including ours - whose children linger in orphanages in third-world countries, where illnesses that are so treatable in our first-world reality are a deathly risk in theirs.
