Pucon is known for its many "termas" - resorts advertising pools of natural thermal waters (or hot springs) filled with minerals and supposedly healing properties. Some are quite fancy and offer lodging, restaurants and spa amenities in addition to the thermal pools, while others are left almost in their natural state. Last year we enjoyed one of the termas called Menetue, which is on the higher end of amenities. It was so fun and relaxing that this year we visited again, but on another day we also visited another termas called Quimey-Co. These pictures are from that visit. We only used the outdoor pools because of the price, but we all had a lot of fun!
Whether the termas are truly healing or not, I can't say - but I can attest to the fact that Owen was walking much better on his injured leg after the time he spent in the warm water. Just look at the smile on his face and you can see that he truly enjoyed the experience! :)
