Twice now, Owen has melted my heart with a loving compliment at the most unexpected moment. Not long ago, I was getting ready for church (but still had a ways to go!) Wet, messy hair and only half-dressed, I heard him sweetly say: "Mommy, you look sooo beautiful!" Then yesterday morning, I walked into Owen's bedroom in my yellow "granny" housecoat to wake him for school. He took one look at me and exclaimed: "Mommy, you look so beautiful in your jammas!"
It can be the best of times, it can be the worst of times, but when my son thinks I'm beautiful ... it is the sweetest of times. I love you, O!

I bet you look AMAZING in that yellow housecoat : ) It sounds breathtaking! If Owen thinks you are beautiful then it's a sure thing!

I love "Mama's boys"!! =)
My boys' comments such as Owen's are my treasured memories and sweet gifts from the Father. I'm so glad that you have such sweet times to cherish in the midst of uncertainty.
