Breakfast did arrive, but due to an excess of phlegm was vomited promptly afterwards ... as was Owen's snack a few hours later! So far he has had two "baths" and two changes of bedding and clothes today. He hates them! In fact, he greatly dislikes just about everything and everyone (except maybe family) right now. One of the nurses was trying to comfort him during the latest change of bedding and he hit her in the face ... and last night he kicked his sister when she was trying to give him a hug goodbye!
Needless to say, he is NOT the model patient.
The pediatrician stopped in this morning while Pedro was in the room. He took Owen off the oxygen, but seemed to indicate that he wanted him to stay for observation until tomorrow. Apparently they also want us to come back next week, either for therapy or training, Pedro wasn't sure he understood which. So we will need to confirm that with the doctor.
Owen really needs a good nap today. He is hungry (since everything that has gone into his stomach has come back out) and very, very tired, grumpy, whiny, over-sensitive, etc. Please pray for a happier boy this afternoon!
