When Daddy Says No

Once again, a simple walk with the girls turned into a crusade to save an abandoned animal – in this case, two tiny abandoned kitties.

One was a fluffy white and black with blue eyes, and the other was all white with blue eyes. The second one was a lot more timid and was the one who inflicted the scratches on Eva’s hand when she attempted to pick it up! The other one kept following us, first to the corner as we walked home and then – when we returned in the car with some fresh milk for the kitties – to the car.

Eva was desperate to take the kitties home but Daddy said absolutely not!

This was the look on her face after we said our goodbyes (most likely forever, since the kitties were on a busy street corner) and returned home without them …
