We celebrated summer by purchasing a pool that was on sale at the department store! Finally, a way to cool off on these hot summer days. Thankfully there is low humidity in Chile, but nonetheless it has been very hot (high 90's) all through December and the houses here do not have air conditioning. We have several fans, but our house still gets hot and stays hot on the days that the sun beats down on it. So we are very thankful for this new blessing! Notice how much the kids (and Daisy) enjoyed their inaugural swim yesterday ...

This is so funny to see your kids playing in a pool in January. :) Although, we don't get snow and Isabella was playing outside today. I'm been so slack on blogging lately, so I've been enjoying going back and reading your posts. :)
We met a couple at church on Wed. that lived next to you at RGBI. The lady's name is Pilar, and the husband is going to the BI. They are attending Ig Bau de Valle now with us.
It is my pleasure to meet you through your blog. It is amazing to realize how close you can be but separted by so many miles. I am Tricia's dad. I appreciate so much you taking the time to include her request on your blog. The Lord allowed Tricia to be an important of our family by adoption. She has been such a blessing to us and her five sibblings. May the Lord bless you in your work as you serve HIM.
Your poor kiddos aren't going to KNOW what happened to them come next June! Their year and a half of summer will have skewed their sense of propriety to the seasons!!! :-D Glad they're enjoying...and not cold! :) It's a sunny day in the Library here... :)
