Let's Try This Again!

Well, we are in the process of checking out of our hotel and heading back to the airport. It is around 3:00 pm here, and we will need to keep ourselves occupied until we are allowed to check in. We can check in four hours before our scheduled flight, which would be around 7:55 pm.

  • Please pray that someone would be available to help with our luggage so that Pedro doesn't have to make four trips again by himself.
  • Please pray that the airline would honor the $420 already paid for our overweight luggage to go straight through to Chile.
  • Please pray that they would find us seats as a family (right now, one of us is separated from the others.)
  • Please pray for strength and health for Pedro, and good attitudes and strength for the rest of us as well.
  • Please pray for a safe, uneventful flight to Chile.

Thank you so much for being there for us across the miles! We appreciate all of you who have written to encourage us, and those that are praying for us!

Hi Stephanie,

I am a frequent reader of your blog, and I have met you a couple times when you came to my old church with your family to present your plans for Chile. I just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you guys as you deal with airports and travel agents and luggage and everything else that goes into an international move. Thanks for the frequent updates! I'm praying that all goes well with your flight tonight.

Good bless you and your family!

And the rollercoster ride continues . . . We have had a very small rollercoster ride over the last two weeks with getting our youngest daughter to college. The Lord has brought a song to my heart that I'm going to sing on Sunday morning. I thought it may encourage you as it has me. Love and are praying for you and your family much.

TILL THE STORM PASSES BY
In the dark of the midnight, have I oft hid my face,
While the storm howls above me, and there's no hiding place.
"Mid the crash of the thunder, Precious Lord, Hear my cry,
Keep me safe till the storm passes by.

Chorus
Till the storm passes over, till the thunder sounds no more,
Till the clouds roll forever from the sky;
Hold me fast, let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand,
Keep me safe till the storm passes by.

When the long night has ended and the storms come no more,
Let me stand in Thy presence on the Bright peaceful shore;
In that land where the tempest, never comes, Lord, may I
Dwell with Thee when the storm passes by.
