Our children have enjoyed a couple of brief visits with some of their MK "cousins" lately! It has been especially encouraging for them to be able to envision playing alongside these new friends when they are all reunited in Chile.
For those who may be unfamiliar with the idea of MK "cousins" - typically on the mission field, fellow missionary adults are called "Aunt" and "Uncle" by the children and thus the kids become honorary cousins! Being far away from biological family, this creates a sense of belonging and unity among the missionary families as we spent holidays and celebrate other special occasions together.
