according to Mommy and Daddy’s plan. But in the meantime, Eva showed up on our doorstep with three little friends in tow! She and Isabel were so excited to have Ahava, Sofia and Noah over to play that I couldn’t find it in my heart to say no. So, I broke out the playdough instead …
And after the playdough came The Walk. In Eva’s world, pulling her friends in the little red wagon really meant that she was the teacher of a “little baby class” of “Pre-K-ers” (those were her words, anyway!) She was very excited, but Isabel was in tears over not being able to pull the wagon herself. So Isabel was given the job of “helper” over the younger children, just in case anyone fell out or dropped their water bottle. (Here in Texas, water is very important to avoid dehydration in the hot sun – so the first thing Eva did for her “class” was pull out travel cups and provide water to each of her “students!”)

The packing can always wait (atleast for a little while). These are precious moments that we don't want to miss.
