For Heather

Please, if you are reading my blog today, take the time to meet a very special woman named Heather. I have only just "met" her myself by reading her online blog. She and her husband are believers who have faced incredible medical challenges with their precious little girl, Emma Grace, and yet continue to trust and rejoice in the Lord. (You can read Emma's story HERE.)

Now, this very same young woman/wife/mom has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. It is one of those situations where you want to ask, "How much is one family supposed to bear?" Yet she continues to share with honesty and faith about this new journey on which she has been forced to embark, on her blog "Especially Heather."

Today, April 18th, an online community is gathering to support Heather with prayers and an offering to help with her upcoming trip to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. If you would like to learn more about this effort and how you can be a part, please visit this blog: http://boomama.net/?p=1006

It is amazing to me how despite the efforts of sinful man to use the Internet for evil, there are so many ways in which God can and does use it as an instrument of His goodness and grace. This is certainly one of those ways ...

Romans 12:5 “So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.”

1 John 3:18 “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”
