A day in the life of this mother of three:

An after-church lunch at the burger joint is unpleasantly interrupted by my 16-month old's upchucking all over his bib and the high chair tray.

A trip to the bathroom to wash off the bib and the high chair tray is interrupted by my 4- and 5-year old girls following and needing to go potty.

An attempt to pull toilet paper off the roll to clean the toilet seat before they use it is interrupted by the screams of my 4-year old, whose fingers have somehow been slammed by the stall door.

A moment of comforting and running cold water over her fingers is interrupted by my 5-year old saying she can't get the toilet paper off the roll to clean up.

Into all this walks another customer (of course!)

Finally the girls have gone potty, the swollen fingers have been comforted, the icky pukey has been cleaned, and we all head for home ...!!

So, how was your day??

Edited to add: And in case you might ask (as my mother did after hearing this story!) whether we still want that baby #4 ... the answer is, most definitely, YES!!

Steph,
Thank you for the story about today. As a mother of 4 I can relate.
