Dear Praying Friends,
We received word this morning of two ABWE missionaries and two Chilean believers who were involved in a bus accident in the south of Chile. One of the Chilean men is currently missing, and one of the ABWE missionaries (Doug Kreeger) suffered some broken ribs and a punctured lung. Doug will be transported to another city for medical care. Please pray - for Doug to receive the best medical care possible, for the two missionary wives as they travel to be with their husbands, and for our Chilean brother to be found safely.
Also, we recently learned that another Chilean brother named Ricardo Araya was shot during an attempted robbery outside his home while preparing to carry a large amount of payroll funds to a construction site. He received two bullet wounds in the stomach and one in the leg. The last we heard was that he was in critical but stable condition - however, the hospital where he is receiving care is not the best and the biggest concern is that his wounds not become infected. Please pray - for excellent medical care, for no infection, and for peace and comfort for the Araya family.
