While we all know there is no such thing as a "perfect" picture where multiple childish personalities are involved, in my book this photograph with Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop and the nine "Chile-connection" grandkids comes as close as possible. Even the expression on Micah's face is just, well, typical Micah. And lo and behold there is a smile from Mati! But the brightest smile may be the one peeking in from the very back. I think it's the biggest grin on Pop-Pop's face in all of the pictures I've taken during their time in Chile. We have the grandkids to thank for that!
This next picture took some cajoling directed at the kiddos but eventually the group relocated and reconfigured and a family photograph (including parental units) was created. I'm so happy to have this as a memento of a very precious opportunity that may not come again for a long time.
