Today we received one of the most beautiful
letters of encouragement I have ever read, from a precious 80-year old
sister in Christ. Enclosed was this magazine page from 2002, the year we
were appointed to Chile. All around the edges of the page are handwritten the dates that she prayed specifically for us over the course of many years.
The
rest of the story is this ... In November, we visited a supporting
church in CT and this woman who lives in NC just "happened" to be there
visiting her daughter. We had never met or communicated before, but she
said, "I know you!" She could picture in her mind's eye our photo in the
bottom right-hand corner of this page because of praying over us so
much. It is a blessing we will never forget!
