Last night we Skyped with my sister, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews in Chile. The kids saw Meemie for the first time since she has been sick, and Juliana asked: "Is she in the hospital?" Matias told Meemie that he had found a card from her in his baby book, Kendra sang Meemie a song, and Micah played Meemie a song on the piano.

Then Mark read a Psalm to Meemie. Everyone listened quietly, Dad with his head in his hands. God's Word spoken across cyberspace, just as it has endured through time and space for hundreds of years.
