This week we have the special privilege of being in Pennsylvania visiting with my sister Terri and her husband Dave, and their five children: Jonathan, Sabastian, Benjamin, Nathaniel and Sophia. The last time we were in their home was probably five years ago before we departed to Chile. That makes for a lot of catching up to do!

It has been fun to watch the cousins get to know one another and enjoy each other's company. Benjamin and Owen share the excitement of video games; while Eva and Benjamin care for his hamster, Russia, together when he doesn't have a game control in his hands! Meanwhile Nathaniel, Ian and Alec find plenty of ways to stay busy and create mischief. It has been humorous to watch a few small tiffs between the little boys because Nathaniel is not so quick to back down from a disagreement with Alec as Ian typically is. So Alec and Nathaniel can go toe to toe sometimes!

Isabel is solicitous of little Sophia and also enjoys sitting in the kitchen conversing with Aunt Terri. And Terri, Dave, Pedro and I look forward to the evenings when our kids are all tucked in bed and we can relax with a bowl of ice cream and a new episode of Star Trek for an hour or two!

I am thankful for this time together and pray we can be an encouragement and blessing to the Fishers while we are here. Thank you, Lord, for the blessing of family.

SO glad you can be with some of your family! I pray that it will be refreshing and restful for all of you. What special time...those moments with far away family are rare gems that are forever treasured.

Yay for sister/brother-in-law/cousin time! Wish we could be there, too but I'm so glad you get this time to be together.
Love you!!!
