Often they entertain me with their play - like on this day, when they turned their car seats into cozy armchairs, grabbed blankets and toys and happily vroom-vroomed together:
Sometimes they thrill me with a few precious moments of quiet time while they look at books. It's so cute to listen to their commentary! On this particular day I was especially amused to discover Alec trying to impersonate his school-going older brother by wearing his uniform shirt:
There are few mornings that we survive without major incidents such as fighting or scratching the paint on Daddy's car or throwing non-aquatic items in the pool (these are all "theoretical" of course) ... but then there are moments like these that make it all worthwhile:
