This evening I read the latest UNICEF statistics on orphans worldwide:

India at 25M, China 17M, Nigeria 9.7M, Ethiopia 5M, Bangladesh 5M, DRC 4.5M, Indonesia 4.4M, Russia 4M, Pakistan 3.9M, Tanzania 2.6M.

Then I read one mom's heartrending description of her recent visit to the Namuowongo Slum in Uganda, homeland to her beautiful son:
