Birthday party. Blackout. Blood draws. Soccer class. Sick child. School. Packing. Praying. Planning and preparing.
And the list goes on ...
I've not been in much of a writing mood these past few days because things are just so busy. I leave a week from today for my trip to Haiti, and that has been consuming many of my thoughts. Owen is also under the weather and we are monitoring him. I spent the morning getting blood drawn and doing the whole glucose/sugar shock thing for two hours (I've lost track of how many times I've done this in my adult lifetime now.) I see the endocrinologist later this week.
I teach at our ladies' meeting this Saturday. The girls both have tests at school this week. Pedro has sermons to prepare. English classes continue. We need to have our discipleship meeting with our neighbors and we've been asked by another couple at church to meet with them for some counsel as well.
Life is busy. Life is good. The ocean is beautiful. I'm so thankful to live within sight of it each day. This post is very eclectic, but so are the days of our lives! Thank you to those who care, and to those who pray for the "Garcias2Chile."
