This is a close up so you can't see the matting and the frame, but I wanted to highlight the shapes and colors. There is not a whole lot of texture to the painting except for the three spools of yarn (the photo doesn't really do it justice.) But I loved the bright hues and the more abstract feel to the painting. It's different than what we already have, but at the same time goes along with another painting we own of Peruvian ladies picking flowers. They are wearing these same multi-colored dresses and broad-rimmed hats. Thanks to my sweet hubby for letting me fulfill my yen for something new!

New on Our Wall
