Pucon House

I have to mention what a cool place the Pucon house is ... all wood, inside and out, with rustic handmade wooden furniture in the main living area. There is a balcony that runs the length of the second floor so that each of the three upstairs bedrooms opens to it; and a large back porch/balcony on the first floor to which the downstairs bedroom and living room open as well. The house is nestled into the woods around it and is mostly hidden when looking up at it from the river below. In front of the house, on the other hand, expansive fields and the towering green mountains create a strikingly beautiful panorama.

By far the kids' favorite feature of the Pucon house is the indoor "pool." In reality it is a private hot tub/jacuzzi room, but for a bunch of energetic cousins it serves as a safe, shallow splashing ground within earshot of the grownups! The "hot pool" gave all of us many hours of vacation pleasure on this particular trip. :)

It looks like you guys had fun! When you get a chance, send me some info about the place where you stayed. It looks like a very nice cabin!

I pray all is going well with the move to Iquique!
