My husband summarized it best tonight when he said that one of the joys of vacation is hearing your children express delight at coming home, despite how much fun they had while being away. There is a comfort in being together again, just the five of us, in our own familiar place.
Of course, that comfort won’t last for long. The moving company is scheduled to arrive a week from Friday! They will be wrapping the bigger items, then packing the truck a day or two later. Which means that we have approximately 1 ½ weeks to pack and itemize our entire household plus two offices. Yes, prayers would be GREATLY appreciated to that end!
