Casts & Creamsicles

Okay, this is not exactly a creamsicle that Owen is eating, but I liked the way the title sounded! (Alliteration and all that, you know.) At any rate, here is the promised picture of his new cast. If you look closely, you will see a matching blue bar that crosses from leg to leg. It is actually a piece of wood cut down to size and then wrapped in the blue cast wrap. Owen is tolerating it pretty well even though it means he can no longer wear pants. We're found a couple of long, sweatshirt material skirts that his sisters had lying around and they work great at keeping him covered. If Scotsmen can wear kilts, we figure he can get away with this "tribal dress" as we call it! :)
