Four more weeks in the big blue cast was the verdict from the doctor today.
He was pleased with Owen's progress and in his opinion the cast "didn't even stink." Pedro says maybe if the doctor had leaned in a little closer .... after all, Owen somehow managed to spill juice down the length of his leg inside the cast last night and now complains that it feels "sticky" in there ... ewww!!
Another x-ray on Thursday and maybe then I'll remember to ask what kind of therapy Owen will need afterwards and for how long. And so the saga continues ...
But the important thing is that he is healing, and healing well. God be praised!!
