On Meeting Our Boys

Two little boys wait for their home,
A place that to them is still quite unknown.
Three older children awaiting them there
With toys, love and laughter they’re willing to share.

Two anxious parents long for the time
They’ll see their sweet babies and think, “They are mine!”
Seven short days are all they will share,
Meeting and loving and holding them there.

And then they’ll be waiting and praying for grace
To keep on believing and running this race.
Knowing that one day they’ll all be together,
A family united, a blessing forever!
