Today I read the adoption homecoming story of a 12-year old girl on a blog that I visit frequently. Her adoptive family is a very special one, consisting of thirteen children adopted both domestically through foster care and internationally from
What was so unique about her story was the way her adoption came about … a social worker who read the family’s blog actually approached them via e-mail to consider adopting this little girl. That is truly unheard of! Even more amazing is that this was not considered a state adoption but a domestic one with the financial implications that entails – but the agency chose to charge no fees and to pay for travel expenses. Again, this is unheard of! The homestudy fee was the next hurdle and a friend of the family volunteered to pay that amount in full. One piece after another fell into place, with the final amazing one being that this little girl was born on the exact day in the exact year that her new mother had miscarried a precious child almost thirteen years before.
God is amazing … and God is in the details. Praise the Lord!
I want to piggyback on that last statement by sharing this. As you know, our trip to

Thank you for sharing that reminder. It is nice when God lets us see how his timing is perfect, but we still know it is true when he doesn't reveal it to us yet.
HALLELUEAH to that last statement! :)
