... I was having my fingernails and toenails painted bright red by my lifelong friend and maid of honor, Angie, in anticipation of my wedding the very next morning! That was certainly a 4th of July I will never forget. (:
And tonight I enjoyed a wonderful evening with my husband, reminiscing about that day 11 years ago and remembering all that God has brought us through and done in our lives since then.
I think it is the first time I have gone to three different restaurants in one night. One for coffee, one for dinner, and one for dessert (although the first and last were pick up only!) What a fun, relaxing, celebratory evening and I enjoyed every minute of it.
But most of all, I enjoyed being with the wonderful, funny, smart, caring, thoughtful, faithful, loving man that God has allowed me to call my husband for over a decade now. I am so thankful for him ... Pedro, I love you!

hope you had a wonderful anniversary, can't believe it has been 11 years!...I feel so old!....I'll have to say I enjoyed every bit of that weekend also, especially painting your nails!...you were & are a gorgeous bride!

Happy Anniversary! I'm glad you got to go out and enjoy each other's company in celebration of your 11 years together. And I'm glad you found a way to get to the US Embassy yesterday...if it's any consolation, we awoke to a gray, drizzly day as well, and it never really got much better (although it stopped raining long enough to get the BBQ in!) Love you guys!
