... and this time I went prepared! Change of clothes, toiletries, snacks for Owen and his Matchbox cars and Max Steel doll. Fortunately, we were not kept overnight so we didn't need the majority of my emergency supplies (but the toys and snacks were very helpful when the wait got a little long!)
Owen was diagnosed with a slight bronchial obstruction and received a nebulizer treatment before being sent home. He is supposed to use an inhaler every six hours (here they call it giving "puffs" pronounced "pooffs" which always makes me chuckle) and Claritin and Nasonex twice a day. In ten more days, his pediatrician wants an x-ray of his neck to see if perhaps his adenoids have grown back and are causing sleep apnea again (from the sounds of things while Owen is sleeping, we think this might be the case.)
Here we go again!
