Yes, indeed, we received clearance to leave the hospital sooner than we thought! Both the doctor on rotation and Owen's pediatrician agreed that although there was still some slight "obstruction" he was okay to go home. And as you can tell from the video, Owen was VERY excited!!
Owen brought a "puffer" home with an inhaler and will receive those treatments every four hours, along with a steroid medication every 12 hours. Tomorrow he returns to see the doctor in his office and to have another "chest therapy" with the neuro-therapist who treated him before we left the hospital today.
We are most likely looking at a pending asthma diagnosis, so we will appreciate any advice from those who have been-there-done-that! Thank you for your prayers and concern for Owen these past two days!

Glad you are home Owen! I don't have any asthma advice, but I pray that you get all the answers and support you need for Owen. :)
