It’s 11 PM in Chile

… and what do I see?

I see a wedding party in full swing.

I see children riding their bikes on a newly paved street.

I see young people hanging out on street corners.

I see couples embracing in the dark.

I see a drunk men stumbling in the street.

I see ladies chatting on the sidewalk.

I see my neighbors hosting a backyard barbecue.

I see people … people … everywhere ...

Isn't so true!
What an environment for ministry with people...even if it is at 11 pm.
So different from here in the States, where it is very hard to interact with our neighbors. There are many things I am looking forward to about Chilean culture...but I am sure there will be some things that will drive me crazy. But our reason for going isn't to change the culture but adapt to it insomuch that we can present the Gospel and Biblical truth in the most effective way.
