Yesterday evening Owen tried out his climbing skills.
On his sister’s dresser.
And “they all came tumbling down,” literally.
Owen was trapped underneath the dresser.
Running … lifting … holding … crying …
Fear.
He is fine. Less than half an hour later he was splashing and wrestling in the pool with his cousins.
I, on the other hand, am still recovering …

Sam is a climber too, I am so afraid he will do this. Praying for protection over your little explorer! And peace for your mommy heart!
OH Friend...I know this exact feeling. We've had this happen twice. (although, the child in question was QUICK and jumped/bolted out of the way just in time the first time...the second time, it landed on her foot) The sound alone about had me jumping out of my skin! The dresser is now bolted to the wall!
Sounds like a normal boy, my son has done things my daughter never did and I thought she was active...
