Yesterday I listened in
On wishes, hopes and sighs
Of love that’s come or hasn’t yet,
As seen through others’ eyes.
It made my heart more thankful
For you, and all you do
To make our home a happy place –
Loving me, and our children too.
Who knew that time would fly so fast,
Ten years would come and go?
Yet I have cherished each of them
And watched our marriage grow.
So thank you for this life we share,
A gift from God above.
You’re still the keeper of my heart –
You’re still the man I love.
