Outside of Pucon, there are a number of hot (thermal) springs due to the volcanic activity of the Villarica volcano. On Tuesday, we visited one of the area resorts and were the only customers right up to our departure! It was the perfect day. Indoors, we could choose between a large warm pool, or two smaller pools - hot, and hotter. Outdoors, we enjoyed a delicious lunch on the porch overlooking the large (cold!) pool and later swam in that one as well. Just for fun, Jenn and I each got wonderful, relaxing facials in the spa area. Hers included a hand massage; mine included a foot massage; ahhhh! it was sooo nice!
