Old Friends, New Friends

Tonight we enjoyed a visit with Dan and Liz Thompson, GMSA missionaries who arrived just last week in Chile. Dan is no stranger to Chile, however, having been born and raised here as an MK along with his older brother and sister. We all attended the same school (where Eva is enrolled now) and Dan's sister Kristi has been a faithful and wonderful friend of mine since we were in elementary school together!

Dan's wife Liz is also no stranger to missions, as she is an MK from France. They have come to Chile to oversee GMSA's camp ministries and have already been hard at work since arriving, remodeling the guest apartment where they are currently staying. Their three kids and ours seemed to hit it off really well (with the exception of Isabel, who seemed a bit emotionally fragile tonight for some reason - maybe from all the exercise this morning on her field trip!)

We enjoyed our visit and hope to repeat it soon - maybe at the park next time, where the kids can really run off all of that exuberant energy! (:

Wish we could have been there as well. Now that would be loud and crazy to throw our three kids into the mix! Can't wait till we get there to spend time with your family.

Enjoying your pics and stories. My family would like to send something for Christmas for your kids but we have a few questions. Could you email me?
