Sharing Thanksgiving

Our Friday night Bible study group organized with another cell group to share a Thanksgiving event together. Since Thanksgiving is not a holiday in Chile, both children and adults learned the story behind the tradition! The children came out of their class looking cute in their Pilgrim hats.

Of course, traditional foods were on the menu - although we decided against turkey because of the cost and time required to prepare it. We did have deviled eggs, cranberry sauce and juice, and several different pies.

Pedro made his mom's traditional "peach custard pie" and it was a huge hit! Crystal provided the pumpkin pie and whipped topping, and I also made an apple pie and lemon kuchen.
