Tonight Eva graduated from kindergarten. It was a sweet celebration of early mornings, busy school days, twice-weekly homework, and lots of diligence on the part of our little girl. This school year she learned to read, write numbers 1-100, and beginning mathematics. Most importantly, though, this school year she accepted Christ as her Savior and developed a sensitive heart for God and His Word. As a result, not only did she receive her diploma tonight but also the Christian character award for her class. We are so very proud of her!
Isabel also made us proud tonight! She was awarded a certificate for "Most Determined" in her class. Her teacher made a point of sharing how Isabel liked to walk on top of a row of tires on the perimeter of the playground. No matter how many times she fell off, she would jump right back on at the same spot and continue until she had gone all the down the row and back again! Not surprisingly, Isabel loved her moment in the spotlight as she walked forward to receive her certificate! (:

We are so proud of you, Eva and Isabel, and your accomplishments this year at school! We are also so pleased with how much you have grown to love Jesus and how you are showing that in your lives. Keep up the good work and we'll see you soon!
