I appreciate reader comments, but even more so if I know to whom I can direct my response! (: On occasion, I have received comments from "hecklers" which is why I am a little cautious. However, I did want to respond to the anonymous reader comment on my previous post, in case others were confused as to the intentions of my post as well.
Just to clarify, we are not asking for assistance to adopt internationally ourselves, because at this time we feel that God has closed that door for our family. But since I remember that personally for a very long time we ourselves were unaware of the needs of orphans around the world, I feel that God has laid on my heart the desire to share that need with other Christian families. Especially because (Lord willing!) eventually He may lead some of those families into the wonderful experience of adoption themselves! (:
