"uhhnt kuh-oh" (I want to color) - I think Eva has inspired him in this area! Only problem? Somehow the coloring leaves the page and gets onto the table every time!
"uhhnt ka-yee" (I want candy) - We can thank his sisters for this one, too. They often earn a piece of candy from their teacher at the end of the school day, and after several times of "sharing" with Owen he now goes ballistic at the mere sight of a candy wrapper!
"uhhnt ow-tie" (I want to go outside) - This is repeated all day long. Owen is definitely a boy on the move - the "O" in Owen stands for "outside!"
"uhhnt baah" (I want the ball) - This is another oft-repeated phrase! Actually, anytime Owen sees a ball he gets extremely excited and yells at the top of his lungs: "BAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!"
"uhhnt baah-ooh" (I want the balloon) - The only item that could possibly rival the thrill of a ball is a balloon, especially in Wal-Mart. Have you ever noticed how many stray balloons are floating around that store? Here is what Owen sounds like to the other shoppers: "BAAH-OOH!! BAAH-OOH!! BAAH-OOH!! BAAH-OOH!! BAAH-OOH!!" (all the while frantically waving his arms and pointing!)
Other words include:
hi, bye
"oh-ah" (hola)
"Eba" (Eva)
"chews" (shoes)
"Ih-bell" or "Chee-ah" (Isabel or Cheetah, Isabel's nickname)
"moo-ee" (movie)
"Nee-Nee" (Aunt Nina)
"taco" (pretty self-explanatory!)
