Latin Time

It is 8 pm on a Sunday night, the time when my children should be tucked into bed and well on their way to sleep. But instead of sleeping, tonight they are running back and forth between apartments, playing with toys on a blanket in the front yard, and kicking the soccer ball around with the neighbor boys amidst much giggling and laughter.

On Latin Time - sometimes you just have to forget the schedule!

It is 10:30 pm, and my phone rings just as I am seriously considering heading to bed. It is my neighbor, calling to ask if I have some parmesan cheese to go with the leftover ravioli I gifted them from our 5:00 pm dinner earlier that day. They are just now sitting down to eat.

On Latin Time - "our house is your house" no matter the hour!

It is 10:00 pm on a week night, and I am desperately in need of groceries and short on time during the day ... but I really dread going to the grocery store when I'd much rather be going to sleep! What else to do but call my neighbor, who is glad for a ride to Wal-Mart no matter what the time and we happily (and drowsily) push our cart through the aisles, pile our groceries on top on each other's, and arrive home with armfuls of groceries yet to be put away by 11:30 pm.

On Latin Time - it's all about having a good friend along for the ride! (:

i love going to Walmart at night. Usually less people, as long as you get there b4 they start stocking (which is a real pain) it's pretty nice. then you go to bed knowing you'll have cereal in the morning :)

love de latin time! love you steph!
