And we are celebrating, too … because yesterday, Isabel gave her heart to the Lord!
After Sunday School, Isabel told me that she wanted to ask Jesus into her heart. She had said this to us before, when Eva accepted Christ, but at that point her desire seemed to spring from wanting to be like her sister. This time, she seemed very sincere and so I asked her several questions. “Why do you to ask Jesus into your heart?” (“Because I want Him in my heart.”) “Do you need Jesus?” (“Yes.”) “Why?” (“Because of the naughty things I have done.”)
At that point, I wanted to include Daddy in our discussion so we took Isabel aside into a classroom and he opened her little New Testament with her, asking some more questions and sharing Scripture with her. She answered his questions with understanding, and together we had the joy of listening to her pray and ask Jesus to be her Savior. What a precious moment to share!
We encouraged Isabel to share her good news with others, and she was excited to tell Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Nina at church … and Pop-Pop by way of telephone … and all of you reading this today! I told Isabel that I was writing to tell our friends about her asking Jesus into her heart, and did she want to say anything to you? Her answer was “Yes … that I love you!”
So, consider yourselves very loved today!
"In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
-Luke 15:10

What a blessing and comfort to know that little Isabel has Jesus in her heart with all of the trying times in the world before us. Your precise description was so precious and made us tear up with happiness for you all.
We will praise Jesus for His Infinite Love for us all!
